Gabriela Carrillo is a distinguished Mexican architect celebrated for her innovative, context-sensitive designs that seamlessly integrate architecture with the surrounding environment. She began her career in 2001 as the project director at the Architecture Workshop Mauricio Rocha, later becoming a partner and renaming the firm Taller Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo in 2011. In 2019, she established her own practice, Taller Gabriela Carrillo, and co-founded Colectivo C733, dedicated to public architecture across Mexico.
